Registered Investment Advisor

Bridge Creek Capital Management LLC (BCCM), a boutique SEC Registered Investment Adviser (RIA) in West Barnstable, Mass. on Cape Cod, is looking for a committed investment advisor, portfolio manager and analyst, who cares about personal service, helping others, attention to detail, and investing in equities and fixed income securities. 

We’re fee-only fiduciaries who build individual equity and fixed income portfolios, tailored to each client’s needs, goals and tolerance to risk.   We develop long-term portfolio management relationships with our clients using a collaborative, team approach.  A growing business for over 30 years, BCCM helps clients build wealth for education, retirement and preservation for heirs. 

Candidates will need to: 

  • Have a genuine interest in serving and caring about clients, initiating discussions to determine financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, living expenses, insurance coverage, tax status and other information needed to develop investment strategies.

  • Demonstrate a willingness to go beyond expectations to achieve exceptional client service.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in investment principles.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of financial markets and be able to explain sometimes complex financial concepts, while building relationships with clients.

  • Have good, clear writing and communications abilities.

  • Participate as a key part of a small team of professionals.

  • Demonstrate analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Have an aptitude and commitment to develop new business.

  • Have good attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.

  • Have strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Be able to multitask and shift priorities as needed.

  • Be empathetic with excellent listening skills.

  • Have a friendly, engaging, professional demeanor.


Education and other requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics or Financial Planning

  • FINRA Series 65 License required, or within 3 months of hiring

  • Clean SEC and FINRA record, clean U4

  • Pass a background and credit check

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good computer technology skills

  • Experience with Charles Schwab institutional platform and Tamarac a plus

  • Experience and a book of business helpful, but not required

  • Experience at registered investment adviser firm a plus

  • Experience elsewhere in financial services industry a plus

  • CFP® certificate, or in process, a plus
